Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Janitor/Cleaner to join the team at a local school. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our school facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This position involves cleaning classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, and other school areas.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas including classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, and windows
• Empty trash and recycling bins regularly
• Assist in setting up and cleaning after school events
• Report any maintenance issues or damage to the facilities manager
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in janitorial work is preferred but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
