Description
We are looking for a 5-star or 4-star experience with Hotel General Accountant, who must have experience in the hotel Industry.
Responsibilities:
Balancing the accounts from the day shift
Managing front desk activity and handling guest check-ins and check-outs
Ensuring customer satisfaction and other concierge activities according to guest preference
Handling customer requests and complaints and directing other employees or departments accordingly
Creating invoices, and bills for hotel guest
Balancing the Credit card and Cash transactions.
Managing and updating all official documentation pertaining to the role
Ensuring that all end-of-day activities have been successfully executed by employees in all departments
Answering calls and queries related to potential booking
Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
Manage payroll and related tax filings
Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as required
Perform month-end and year-end close processes
Analyze financial data and identify trends or areas for improvement
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting.
Knowledge of Opera / FMC / Sun system / Tally etc
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
