Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fibre Optic Technician (Aramco Certified) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining fibre optic networks, ensuring high-performance connectivity and compliance with industry standards, particularly those set by Saudi Aramco.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, splice, terminate, and test fibre optic cables following Aramco and international standards.

Conduct OTDR, power meter, and other fibre optic testing methods to ensure optimal performance.

Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of fibre optic systems.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry best practices.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to complete tasks on schedule.

Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and tests.

Requirements:

Must be Aramco Certified as a Fibre Optic Technician.

Minimum of 3-5 years experience in fibre optic installation and maintenance.

Strong knowledge of fibre optic components, splicing, and testing equipment.

Experience working with FTTH, FTTX, and structured cabling systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel if required.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in fibre optics (CFOT, FOA, etc.)

Experience working on large-scale industrial and commercial projects.

Familiarity with Saudi Aramco safety regulations and procedures.
