JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect all incoming materials:
Verify the quantity and quality of all deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
Inspect materials for any damage or defects and report any discrepancies.
Organize and store materials in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage and theft.
Utilize appropriate storage methods to protect materials from the elements (e.g., rain, sun, etc.).
Maintain a clean and organized storage area.
Accurately track all material issuances and maintain detailed records.
Ensure that materials are issued only to authorized personnel with proper documentation.
Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accurate inventory levels.
Prepare and maintain accurate inventory reports.
Monitor material usage and identify any potential shortages or overages.
Assist with the preparation of material requisitions.
Coordinate with suppliers for material deliveries.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures on the construction site.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the storage area.
Report any safety hazards or concerns immediately.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2-3 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role on a construction site.
Proficiency in basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, inventory management software).
Excellent communication (English & Hindi) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have Gcc experience.
Must have Gcc valid driving license.
