We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Cashier to provide seamless and professional financial transactions for our discerning guests.
Job Summary:
As a General Cashier in our 5-star environment, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient financial transactions while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process all cash, credit card, and other forms of payment transactions with precision.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile any discrepancies promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
• Handle foreign currency exchange transactions accurately.
• Generate daily cash reports and submit them to the Finance Department.
• Ensure adherence to all hotel financial policies and procedures.
• Maintain the confidentiality of guest financial information.
• Operate and maintain Point of Sale (POS) systems effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a General Cashier, preferably within a 5-star hotel or luxury environment.
• Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures and financial reporting.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in using POS systems and financial software.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle large volumes of transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Availability for immediate appointment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid Bahrain Driving License will be an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with specific hotel management.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of foreign currency exchange regulations.
