Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Operational Excellence Manager to lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our oil and gas operations in Khafji. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing operational performance, ensuring process safety, and embedding risk management frameworks across the organization. A strong background in asset integrity and reliability is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Operational Excellence Initiatives:
Drive continuous improvement, performance optimization, and value-adding activities across all operational departments.
Risk Management:
Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks to identify, evaluate, and mitigate operational risks.
Process Safety Leadership:
Ensure strict adherence to process safety standards and procedures in line with international best practices (e.g., API, OSHA, ISO).
Asset Integrity & Reliability:
Oversee programs related to asset integrity, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Performance Metrics & KPIs:
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational performance and effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with Engineering, HSE, Maintenance, and Operations teams to integrate excellence programs into daily operations.
Training & Culture Development:
Promote a culture of operational excellence through leadership, training, and mentoring of team members.
Compliance & Audit:
Ensure compliance with local and international standards, and lead internal and external audits related to operational excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas sector.
Proven experience in leading operational excellence, risk management, and process safety programs.
In-depth knowledge of asset integrity and reliability best practices.
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Certifications such as Six Sigma, Lean, PMP, or related credentials are a plus.
Preferred Certifications:
Six Sigma Black/Green Belt
ISO 55000 (Asset Management)
NEBOSH/IOSH for process safety
Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) or equivalent
