URGENT RECRUITMENT FOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting records for multiple construction projects.

Prepare and monitor project budgets, job costing, and cost-to-complete reports.

Record and process all financial transactions including supplier invoices, payments, petty cash, and payroll.

Ensure proper allocation of costs to respective projects or cost centers.

Monitor accounts payable and receivable, follow up on collections, and ensure timely payments.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage company cash flow.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Ensure compliance with Bahrain VAT regulations, including preparation and submission of VAT returns.

Assist in internal and external audits, providing documentation and financial data as required.

Liaise with project managers, procurement, and other departments to align financial data with project activities.

Maintain fixed asset register and monitor asset depreciation.

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or contracting sector.

Knowledge of Bahraini tax and VAT regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or construction-specific ERP systems like SAP or Oracle).

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.

Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred:
Experience working with project-based accounting in GCC countries.
