Description

A dynamic and growing company in Bahrain is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join its finance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the senior accounting staff with a variety of accounting tasks, with a strong emphasis on utilizing Zoho Books.

SALARY: BHD 150 per month

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Accounting Support: Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage expense reports, and track payments to and from the company.

Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements with the company's financial records to ensure accuracy.

Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by entering daily transactions into the accounting system.

Zoho Books Management: Utilize Zoho Books for various accounting functions, including but not limited to, invoicing, expense tracking, and generating financial reports.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Proven experience in an assistant accountant role or a similar position.

Hands-on experience with Zoho Books is essential.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills in English are required.
