Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions, maintain compliance with local regulations, and support business decision-making through financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, journal entries, and supporting documentation.

Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections.

Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

Prepare financial statements and management reports.

Ensure compliance with VAT, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements.

Support internal and external audits.

Maintain accounting systems and suggest improvements to financial procedures.

Collaborate with other departments for budgeting and cost control.

Monitor and report on cash flow, expenses, and financial trends.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience.

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Odoo, QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP).

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred:

Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus.

Experience in marketing and events industry
