We are looking for experienced Readimix Laboratory Technician.

Job Summary:

Conducting concrete and materials (aggregates, cement, water, mixes) testing in the laboratory or at casting sites, to ensure the quality of the materials and their compliance with approved specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting the necessary tests and making samples at the customer’s site as directed.
• Breaking samples on time and as required .
• Bring and transport samples between sites as needed. - Active involvement in Product/Materials development
• Communication with customers, both internal and external.
• Carry out a range of concrete, cement and aggregates laboratory tests
• Carry out materials sampling and sample management
• Keep accurate and legible records of all works undertaken
• Working on the approved technical specifications and standards.
• Identify and manage risk in all work activities
• Basic equipment calibration when required
• Work to complete the necessary reports according to the work requirements at the factory.
• Training and orientation of new lap technician (under training).
• Follow the verbal and written instructions of factory monitors and supervisors.
• Follow the supervising mechanic's instructions and directions.
• Perform any other duties assigned to him within the limits of his job duties.
• In the event that these instructions are not adhered to, he bears full responsibility and the resulting damages.
• The job description is updated annually by adding or removing some tasks.

Required experience and qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• English language beginner.
• Beginner computer skills.
