Description

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Relations:

Greet guests and ensure a pleasant check-in/check-out experience.

Handle guest complaints or requests professionally.

Team Supervision:

Manage front desk staff (receptionists, concierge, bell staff, etc.).

Train, schedule, and evaluate employees.

Operations Management:

Ensure proper booking, room allocation, and billing (for hotels).

Oversee reservation systems and front office procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and professionalism at the front desk.

Coordination:

Work with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, security).

Coordinate special guest services (VIPs, events, etc.).

Reporting & Administration:

Prepare shift reports, occupancy rates, and financial summaries.

Monitor budgets and minimize operational costs.

Skills & Qualities Required:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Leadership and team management

Problem-solving ability

Professionalism and attention to detail

Time management and multitasking

Knowledge of reservation/booking systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio)

Typical Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field

Experience in customer service or hotel operations

Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS systems)
