Description

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Supermarket Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our store floor.

The ideal candidate will ensure excellent customer service, efficient staff coordination, and smooth inventory management. This role is key to maintaining high operational standards and a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise floor staff, including cashiers, stockers, and department associates

Monitor daily store operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction

Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly

Ensure product displays are organized, clean, and well-stocked

Assist in inventory control, receiving goods, and managing stock levels

Train and coach staff on customer service, store policies, and procedures

Monitor cashier activities and ensure accurate cash handling and reporting

Maintain health and safety standards within the store

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business or Retail Management is a plus)

1–3 years of retail or supermarket experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Basic knowledge of POS systems and inventory software

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
