We are seeking an experienced and passionate Turkish Chef to join our team at Osmanlızadeler Restaurant. The chef will be responsible for preparing authentic Turkish and Ottoman-inspired dishes, ensuring high culinary standards, consistency in taste and presentation, and adherence to food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook authentic Turkish and Ottoman cuisine including kebabs, mezes, pides, grills, stews, desserts, and traditional breads.

Develop and maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.

Create new menu items in line with Turkish culinary traditions and customer preferences.

Supervise kitchen operations, staff, and daily food preparation.

Monitor portion control, minimize food waste, and manage kitchen costs.

Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards (HACCP).

Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Turkish cooking techniques.

Source authentic Turkish ingredients and maintain inventory control.

Work closely with management to plan menus, special events, and seasonal promotions.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Turkish Chef in a Turkish or Middle Eastern restaurant.

Expertise in authentic Turkish cuisine, including Ottoman specialties.

Strong knowledge of Turkish spices, herbs, and cooking methods (charcoal grill, clay oven, slow cooking).

Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification (preferred but not mandatory).

Leadership and team management skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of Ottoman heritage cuisine and presentation.

Experience with menu engineering and cost control.

Creativity in fusing traditional Turkish dishes with modern styles while maintaining authenticity.

Multilingual (Arabic/English) is an advantage.
