Description
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to manage day-to-day administrative tasks and support finance and accounts functions. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent communication and time management skills, and proficiency in MS Excel. This role is critical to ensure the smooth operation of the office and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Responsibilities:
Oversee daily office operations and ensure a well-maintained and organized workspace
Manage office supplies, stationery, and inventory
Handle correspondence, emails, calls, and scheduling meetings
Maintain employee attendance records and leave management
Support HR in coordinating interviews, onboarding, and staff records
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and contractors
Ensure timely renewal of office utilities, licenses, and subscriptions
Finance & Accounts Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and records
Handle accounts payable and receivable
Prepare and process invoices, bills, and expense reports
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts
Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash
Assist with GST, TDS filings, and compliance (if applicable)
Generate financial reports using Excel and accounting software
Support external/internal audits with required documentation
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory
2–3 years of relevant work experience in office administration and accounts
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Focus,, similar)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and work independently
