Description

Qualifications:

- Bahraini nationals only.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- 7–10 years of proven experience in inventory or store management within the construction or contracting industry.
- Experience managing inventory across multiple divisions (Civil, MEP, Fit-Out, or FM).
- Certification in Supply Chain or Inventory Management (CIPS, APICS, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, warehousing operations, and material handling practices.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and other IT-related inventory management tools.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and general IT systems used in data reporting and analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated leadership, team supervision, and mentoring capability.
- A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in learning, adapting to new systems, and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain effective inventory control systems across multiple divisions.
2. Monitor stock levels and ensure optimum availability of materials, tools, consumables, and assets.
3. Establish and enforce policies for receiving, issuing, returning, and storing materials.
4. Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Procurement teams to forecast material requirements.
5. Ensure timely delivery of project-specific items to avoid delays and downtime.
6. Coordinate with vendors and logistics teams to manage delivery schedules.
7. Maintain accurate stock records in ERP or inventory management systems.
8. Conduct regular cycle counts, stock audits, and resolve discrepancies.
9. Generate reports on stock movement, consumption trends, and wastage.
10. Implement strategies to minimize holding costs while preventing shortages.
11. Identify slow-moving, excess, or obsolete items and propose corrective actions.
12. Ensure compliance with company policies, budgetary controls, and ISO standards.
13. Supervise and train storekeepers and inventory staff across multiple sites.
14. Enforce safety, health, and environmental regulations in storage areas.
15. Support audits and regulatory compliance requirements.
