Description

Responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread, pastries, and other baked goods in accordance with recipes and quality standards.

Key Responsibility:

Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.

Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency and quality in all products.
Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes, ensuring proper ratios and techniques.
Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as needed.
Inspect finished products for quality, taste, and visual appeal, making adjustments as necessary.
Ensure that all baked goods are fresh and meet the established quality standards.
Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
Sanitation and Safety
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, storage, and cleanliness in the baking area.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate production schedules and ensure timely preparation of baked goods.
Communicate effectively with management regarding production needs, inventory levels, and any issues that arise.
