Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Draftsman to join our team. The successful candidate will create detailed mechanical drawings and plans, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and modify mechanical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop accurate mechanical layouts and schematics.
Ensure drawings meet industry standards, project specifications, and local codes.
Conduct site visits and inspections to gather necessary information for drafting.
Revise drawings based on feedback from team members and project stakeholders.
Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions.
Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman or similar role.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
Knowledge of mechanical systems, codes, and standards.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with BIM modeling software.
Familiarity with energy-efficient and sustainable design practices.
Certification in drafting or related fields.
