Description
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in coffee preparation, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and specialty beverages.
Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines for all drinks.
Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other caf? equipment safely.
Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and cafe area.
Ensure all items are stocked including milk, syrups, coffee beans, takeaway cups, and other supplies.
Handle customer complaints or special requests professionally.
Process payments using POS systems.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor/manager.
Support cafe team with duties such as packaging, serving, or assisting during peak hours.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous barista or cafe experience preferred
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso-based drinks.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
Positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn.
Must be able to stand for long periods and handle fast-paced tasks.
