Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Piping and Tubing Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing piping and tubing systems as per drawings, specifications, and industry standards. This role requires strong technical skills, precision, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret piping and tubing drawings, isometrics, and blueprints.
• Measure, cut, bend, and fit piping and tubing (carbon steel, stainless steel or other materials).
• Use tools such as pipe cutters, benders, threading machines, and welding equipment.
• Prepare pipe and tube connections using appropriate joining methods (welding, brazing, threading, compression fittings, etc.).
• Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and supports as per standards.
• Conduct pressure testing and inspections to ensure integrity of assembled systems.
• Adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with welders, fitters, and engineers as needed.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

High school diploma, ITI, or diploma in mechanical/fabrication or related trade.
Certification in pipefitting or welding is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in piping and tubing fabrication (field or workshop).
Experience working with [e.g., stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, PVC, hydraulic or pneumatic systems].

Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.
• Skilled in use of hand and power tools related to pipe/tube fabrication.
• Familiarity with various joining methods and their applications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices (e.g., OSHA, site safety protocols).
