Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Architectural Graphic Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between architecture and visual communication. You will be responsible for creating high-end 2D and 3D visual assets that help our clients and stakeholders visualize interior and exterior spaces long before construction begins.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of spatial design, lighting, and materiality, combined with the technical skill to produce stunning renderings, environmental graphics, and presentation decks.
*Key Responsibilities*
Architectural Visualization: Develop high-quality 3D renderings and 2D illustrations for both interior spaces and exterior facades.
Environmental Graphics: Design wayfinding systems, signage, and large-scale wall graphics that integrate seamlessly with the architectural intent.
Presentation Design: Craft compelling project proposals, pitch decks, and competition entries that tell a visual story.
Materiality & Lighting: Work closely with Architects and Interior Designers to accurately represent textures, finishes, and lighting conditions in digital models.
Post-Production: Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to enhance raw renders, ensuring a "magazine-ready" finish for marketing and client reviews.
Brand Integration: Ensure that all architectural visuals align with the firm’s brand identity and the specific branding requirements of the project.
*Required Skills & Qualifications*
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
*Software Expertise*:
Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are essential.
3D Modeling & Rendering: Proficiency in [SketchUp / Revit / Rhino] and rendering engines like [V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion / Twinmotion].
Visual Literacy: A strong eye for composition, color theory, typography, and architectural scale.
Portfolio: A diverse portfolio demonstrating your ability to translate architectural concepts into polished visual media.
Communication: Ability to take complex floor plans and elevations and simplify them into beautiful, easy-to-understand visuals for non-technical clients.
*Preferred Qualifications*
Experience with Motion Graphics or architectural walkthrough videos.
Knowledge of Wayfinding Design and ADA signage requirements.
Familiarity with photography or architectural photo-compositing.
