Job Summary

The Procurement Head supports the organization's purchasing functions by analyzing spending, identifying cost-saving opportunities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient, compliant acquisition of materials, supplies, and services to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Management: Research, evaluate, and onboard potential suppliers; monitor vendor performance and compliance.
• Data Analysis: Analyze procurement data, spend patterns, and market trends to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Negotiation: Assist in negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers.
• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to procurement policies, procedures, and systems.
• Reporting: Prepare and present procurement reports, dashboards, and cost analyses for management.
• Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders (Finance, Operations, etc.) to align procurement with business goals.
• Contract Management: Support the drafting, management, and execution of procurement agreements.
• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with procurement software and data analysis tools.
• Understanding of supply chain principles and contract management.

• Decision making: Procurement Head require practical decision-making skills to find the best supplier. They can use these skills to collect information on different suppliers, compare them, and determine which one has the best prices, terms, and products.
• Time management: Procurement Head require time-management skills to ensure companies receive their supplies on time. These skills help them order supplies regularly, negotiate deals efficiently, and prioritize their tasks to enhance productivity.
