About the Role

Rooya is looking for a Fleet Control Tower Officer to support the daily monitoring of fleet operations, driver behavior, route performance, and safety alerts through our telematics and fleet management platforms.

The role is ideal for someone with experience in fleet operations, logistics coordination, dispatching, transport control, or control tower operations. The selected candidate will receive training on Rooya’s fleet technology, safety monitoring tools, reporting dashboards, and client-specific operating procedures.

This is a hands-on operational role focused on real-time fleet visibility, driver communication, safety follow-up, and daily reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor fleet movement, vehicle locations, and driver activities through GPS, telematics, and fleet management systems.
Track driver behavior alerts such as speeding, harsh braking, harsh acceleration, sharp turns, and route deviations.
Communicate with drivers when alerts or violations are detected and document the action taken.
Support daily fleet operations by following up on active trips, vehicle status, route progress, and operational delays.
Escalate safety incidents, accidents, near-misses, or critical alerts to the relevant management team.
Prepare daily and weekly reports covering fleet activity, safety alerts, driver performance, violations, and operational issues.
Support the tracking of vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, maintenance status, and fleet efficiency indicators.
Help maintain accurate records of incidents, driver violations, vehicle issues, and follow-up actions.
Coordinate with internal teams and client stakeholders to support smooth fleet operations.
Assist in building a safety-focused operating culture by following clear monitoring and escalation procedures.
Learn and apply client safety rules, traffic regulations, and operational requirements.
Support continuous improvement by identifying repeated issues, risky driver behavior, and operational gaps.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in fleet operations, logistics coordination, dispatching, control tower, transport operations, or a similar role.
Basic understanding of GPS tracking, fleet management systems, telematics, or logistics platforms.
Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
Good Excel and reporting skills.
Ability to monitor live operations and react quickly to alerts or issues.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
Comfortable working with dashboards, reports, and operational data.
Ability to communicate clearly with drivers, supervisors, and management.
Basic understanding of Saudi traffic rules and fleet safety practices is preferred.
Experience in logistics, FMCG, distribution, delivery, transportation, or fleet operations is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Previous experience using fleet tracking, telematics, dispatching, or route management systems.
Experience preparing daily operational or safety reports.
Knowledge of driver behavior monitoring is an advantage.
Valid Saudi driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
Safety awareness or basic safety training is a plus.
