Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for our employees and visitors. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, possesses a strong work ethic, and understands the importance of maintaining a professional office space.

Key Responsibilities

General Cleaning: Dust and wipe down desks, tables, countertops, and other office furniture.

Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floor surfaces, including tiled areas, carpets, and rugs.

Waste Management: Empty trash cans and recycling bins daily, replacing liners and disposing of waste in designated external dumpsters.

Sanitization: Clean and sanitize high-touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, elevator buttons, and shared equipment.

Restroom Maintenance: Thoroughly clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors. Restock essential supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap).

Kitchen & Breakroom Care: Clean and sanitize countertops, sinks, microwaves, and exterior refrigerator surfaces. Wash any left-behind dishes if required.

Window & Glass Cleaning: Clean glass doors, interior windows, and partitions to remove fingerprints and smudges.

Inventory Tracking: Monitor cleaning supply levels and notify the supervisor when products need to be reordered.

Safety & Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and dilution of cleaning chemicals. Ensure wet floor signs are used appropriately.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Proven experience as an office cleaner, janitor, or housekeeper is preferred but not required.

Attention to Detail: Ability to spot missed areas and maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) throughout the shift.

Time Management: Ability to work efficiently independently and complete tasks within designated timeframes.

Reliability: Punctual, trustworthy, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Communication: Basic English communication skills to interact with office staff and understand safety instructions.
