We are looking for an experienced Purchase Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction materials, supplier management, and procurement procedures.

Key Responsibilities

* Source and purchase construction materials at competitive prices.
* Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.
* Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
* Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
* Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely processing.
* Monitor material availability and maintain stock levels.
* Coordinate with the site, warehouse, and project teams regarding material requirements.
* Ensure materials are delivered on time and according to project schedules.
* Verify the quality and quantity of delivered materials.
* Track purchase orders until successful delivery.
* Maintain procurement records, invoices, and supplier documentation.
* Analyze market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Resolve supplier issues related to quality, shortages, or delayed deliveries.
* Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchasing construction materials.
* Experience in supplier sourcing and vendor management.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Good understanding of procurement processes and documentation.
* Ability to read material specifications and technical requirements.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP procurement systems.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
* Valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
* Experience working in Saudi Arabia's construction industry is an advantage.
