Key Responsibilities

System Management:

Install, upgrade, and configure software and hardware, including servers, operating systems, and network devices.
Network Security: Monitor network performance, implement security protocols (like firewalls and VPNs), and apply system patches.
Data Backup: Ensure regular data backups and establish disaster recovery procedures to protect against data loss.
User Support: Assist employees with IT-related issues, manage access controls, and set up new user accounts.
Hardware Lifecycle: Manage the procurement, deployment, and secure retirement of technology assets.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
Experience: Typically 2-5 years of experience in system administration, network management, or technical support.
Certifications: Industry certifications like CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are highly valued.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to manage stressful, time-sensitive technical emergencies.
