Summary:
As a Chef Tourant, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific station in the kitchen and assisting the head chef in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes.
Job Responsibility:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the designated station's recipes
- Ensure consistent food quality and presentation
- Assist the head chef in creating new dishes and menu planning
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Monitor and manage food inventory for your station
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a professional kitchen
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations and cooking techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Attention to detail and a passion for food
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
