Description
We are looking for an experienced Carpentry Team Leader to join an event fabrication / production workshop.
Key Requirements:
• 5+ years’ experience in carpentry, joinery, scenic construction, exhibition fabrication, shopfitting or similar
• Proven experience leading/supervising a team of carpenters
• Strong hands-on experience with MDF, plywood, laminates, woodworking & fabrication
• Ability to read technical/CAD drawings
• Experience with workshop tools, CNC/routers is an advantage
• Experience in installation, dismantling and site work preferred
• Able to manage quality, safety and production deadlines
• Available to work in a fast-paced event environment
Priority will be given to candidates from event fabrication, exhibition, scenic construction, shopfitting, joinery and interior fit-out backgrounds.
