We are looking for a practical, detail-oriented accountant to help build clean financial operations for an early-stage Saudi AI solutions company. The role is ideal for someone who understands startup operations, SaaS/API/cloud subscriptions, founder-paid expenses, invoices, monthly close, bank reconciliation, basic reporting, and Saudi VAT/ZATCA readiness.

Role:
Part-Time Finance Operations Accountant

Work model:
- Remote or hybrid depending on location.
- 8-12 hours per week to start.
- 12-month renewable engagement.
- Hours may increase as the company grows.

Responsibilities:
- Record and classify monthly expenses.
- Organize supplier bills and customer invoices.
- Track SaaS subscriptions, AI tools, API/cloud costs, and recurring charges.
- Separate founder-paid expenses from company expenses.
- Prepare a simple monthly report covering expenses, revenue, payables, receivables, and cash view.
- Reconcile records with bank statements monthly.
- Keep files ready for VAT/ZATCA review when needed.
- Maintain organized, searchable financial documents.
- Prepare a concise monthly management pack.
- Flag missing documents, unclear expenses, and financial risks.

Requirements:
- Practical accounting or bookkeeping experience with SMEs or startups.
- Good understanding of Saudi business context and VAT/ZATCA basics.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Ability to prepare clear monthly financial reports.
- High attention to detail.
- Arabic and English proficiency.
- Strong confidentiality and data-handling discipline.
- Ability to work remotely and communicate clearly.

Bonus:
- Experience with Odoo, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Xero.
- Experience with SaaS, AI, technology, or startup companies.
- Ability to organize files for future internal systems or datalake use.
- Experience preparing management reports.
