Job Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect hospital rooms, corridors, waiting areas, offices, washrooms and other assigned areas.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital.
Follow hospital infection-control, sanitation and safety procedures.
Properly handle and dispose of general and healthcare-related waste according to hospital procedures.
Clean and sanitize floors, surfaces, furniture, equipment and other designated areas.
Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies when required.
Report spills, damaged equipment, maintenance issues or hygiene concerns to the supervisor.
Use cleaning chemicals, equipment and materials safely and correctly.
Follow instructions from housekeeping supervisors and hospital staff.
Maintain professional behavior and respect patient privacy and confidentiality.
Perform other housekeeping duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Female candidates
Previous hospital housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred
Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties for extended periods
Willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required
Good personal hygiene and professional attitude
Ability to follow hospital safety and infection-control procedures
