Role Purpose

The Housekeeping (Janitor) is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment by performing routine cleaning and housekeeping activities.

The role ensures that assigned areas, including offices, common areas, restrooms, and operational facilities, are maintained to the required standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping activities in assigned areas, including offices, corridors, meeting rooms, restrooms, pantries, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
Clean and disinfect restrooms and ensure all required consumables are properly stocked.
Empty waste bins and dispose of waste according to company procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of entrances, stairways, elevators, and shared facilities.
Respond promptly to housekeeping and emergency cleaning requirements.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or abnormal conditions to the supervisor.
Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment and materials.
Support deep-cleaning activities and special cleaning assignments as required.
Follow company policies, site procedures, HSE requirements, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 3 years of relevant housekeeping/janitorial experience.
Previous experience in facility cleaning, Data Centers (DC), or Critical Facilities is preferred.
Experience with data halls and white-space cleaning will be an advantage.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and materials.
Good understanding of cleaning and sanitation standards.
Basic communication skills in English or Arabic.
Reliable, disciplined, physically fit, and able to follow instructions.
Knowledge of HSE requirements and proper use of PPE.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, holidays, or overtime when required.
