We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Riyadh.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a reliable accounting professional who can handle day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, ensure ZATCA VAT compliance, and provide timely financial reports to management.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

1. Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience in the Gulf region, preferably in Saudi Arabia. Experience in construction / contracting industry is highly preferred.
2. Strong knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles and financial reporting.
3. Practical experience in VAT preparation and filing as per Saudi ZATCA requirements.
4. Experience in preparing documents and schedules for external and internal audits.
5. Strong hands-on experience with Tally Prime is mandatory. Knowledge of other ERP systems is an advantage.
6. Good knowledge of month-end and year-end closing procedures.
7. Good understanding of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Bank Reconciliation and Journal Entries.
8. Experience in cash flow monitoring, financial analysis and management reporting.
9. Knowledge of project accounting, job costing, retention, advances and contract-related accounting will be an advantage.
10. Experience in reconciliation of customer, supplier, bank and balance sheet accounts.
11. Ability to review invoices, expenses, payments and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
12. Good understanding of accruals, prepayments, provisions, depreciation and fixed asset accounting.
13. Strong Excel skills including formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and financial data analysis.
14. Ability to coordinate effectively with auditors, banks, suppliers, customers and internal departments.
15. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines.
16. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
17. Ability to work independently and handle confidential financial information professionally.

QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
