A reputed company in Bahrain is looking for a cleaning and housekeeping supervisor with a valid driving license oversees cleaning teams, manages supply logistics across multiple sites, and performs hands-on quality inspections.

Job Summary

The Cleaning/Housekeeping Supervisor leads day-to-day cleaning operations, coordinates staff schedules, and ensures high hygiene standards across assigned sites.

The inclusion of a driving license requires traveling between multiple locations, transporting cleaning supplies, or managing multi-site mobile cleaning crews.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervision & Team Management: Assign daily cleaning tasks, create shift rosters, and conduct team briefings for cleaners and housekeeping staff.
• Multi-Site Travel & Logistics: Drive company vehicles to inspect different facilities, transport urgent cleaning equipment, and relocate staff members between job sites.
• Quality Control & Inspections: Perform routine checks of rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of cleaning chemicals, tools, and linens, placing orders and restocking supply closets as needed.
• Maintenance Coordination: Report broken fixtures, plumbing, or electrical issues to the maintenance department and track repair progress.
• Staff Training: Train new hires on proper chemical handling, equipment operation, and company cleaning protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in commercial cleaning, housekeeping, or facility management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Driving License: A valid local driving license (with a clean driving record and experience operating light vehicles or minibuses if required).
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, and carry out on-site inspections or physical cleaning tasks when required.
