A growing organization is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Safety Officer to help maintain safe working conditions and promote proper workplace safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular workplace inspections and identify potential hazards.
Ensure employees follow approved health and safety procedures.
Monitor the proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and basic awareness sessions.
Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near-miss situations to management.
Assist with risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measures.
Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and incident documentation.
Coordinate emergency preparedness and support evacuation procedures.
Follow up on corrective actions and ensure identified safety issues are addressed.
Work closely with supervisors and site teams to maintain safety standards.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety certification is an advantage.
Relevant UAE or GCC experience is preferred.
Good knowledge of workplace safety procedures and PPE.
Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills.
Ability to work with different teams and handle safety-related responsibilities.
