Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pump Technician to oversee the installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of water supply systems and swimming pool pumps at our Hospital Housing Facility.

The candidate will ensure uninterrupted, efficient water circulation and system functionality across the residential complex.

Key Responsibilities
Water Pump Systems:

Inspect, service, and repair high-pressure booster pumps, transfer pumps, submersible pumps, and drainage pumps.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in pump motors, impellers, mechanical seals, valves, and control panels.

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure smooth water supply to all residential housing units.

Swimming Pool Pump Systems:

Operate, maintain, and repair swimming pool circulation pumps, strainers, sand filters, and chlorination systems.

Monitor pressure gauges, flow rates, and filter performance.

Assist with pool water quality monitoring and filter backwashing.

General Maintenance & Operations:

Maintain daily logs of pump operations and respond quickly to technical issues or emergency breakdowns.

Replace worn mechanical seals, bearings, gaskets, and pressure switches.

Follow strict safety, safety health, and site protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Pump Technician (experience in residential compounds, housing projects, or commercial buildings preferred).

Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in booster pumps, submersible pumps, pool pumps, control panels, starters, and VFDs.

Education: Diploma or Technical Certificate (ITI/Vocational Training) in Mechanical or Electrical trade.

Skills: Ability to read technical drawings/diagrams, troubleshoot independently, and communicate effectively.
