Description

Key responsibilities:

Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Present menus, explain menu items, promotions, and daily specials.
Take guest orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
Serve food and beverages according to company standards.
Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests.
Check on guests during their meal and handle concerns or complaints professionally.
Prepare and present bills accurately and process guest payments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas.
Set up and clear tables efficiently before, during, and after service.
Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Support colleagues and assist with restaurant operations as required.
Attend departmental training and meetings.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Good grooming and professional appearance.
