Description

Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to oversee financial operations, including budgeting, auditing, and tax preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
• Conduct reconciliations of bank statements, ledgers, and financial records.
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews.
• Manage tax filings, VAT compliance, and other requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Zoho) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
