Description
We are seeking a highly qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations and support the accuracy and efficiency of our logistics and fleet-related cost structures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong financial expertise, exceptional analytical ability, and effective coordination with cross-functional logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and execute all daily accounting and financial activities.
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and periodic management reports.
• Manage general ledger activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll entries.
• Perform cost accounting for logistics and fleet operations (fuel consumption, trip costs, route profitability, operational expenses).
• Coordinate with logistics and operations teams for billing accuracy, trip sheet verification, delivery report validation, and expense tracking.
• Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accurate posting of all financial transactions.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation requirements, and internal control policies.
• Support internal and external audit processes with adequate documentation.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or fleet operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, and accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Odoo, Zoho, Qayyoud, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Valid and transferable Iqama.
• Must currently reside in Riyadh.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Excellent communication skills and interdepartmental coordination ability.
• Must have a valid driving license and own vehicle (for inter-branch coordination and document handling when required).
Preferred:
• Previous experience working closely with logistics or transportation teams.
• Ability to join immediately or within short notice.
