Description
Company is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Administration Accountant to support the company's administrative and financial operations. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting records, processing financial transactions, supporting administrative activities, and maintaining compliance with company procedures, Saudi regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
The successful candidate shall possess strong accounting knowledge, practical experience within Saudi Arabia, and working proficiency in SAP ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and cash management activities.
Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Prepare and monitor budgets, cost reports, and expenditure tracking.
Verify supplier invoices and ensure proper allocation of costs.
Support statutory audits and internal audit requirements.
Ensure compliance with Saudi tax regulations, including VAT and withholding tax requirements.
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation calculations.
Prepare periodic financial and management reports.
SAP Administration
Perform accounting transactions and reporting activities within SAP.
Create and maintain vendor and cost center data where applicable.
Monitor SAP postings to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
Generate reports from SAP to support management decision-making.
Coordinate with finance and administration teams regarding system updates and reconciliations.
Administration Support
Support office administration activities, including service contracts, lease agreements, and vendor coordination.
Maintain proper filing and document control systems for financial and administrative records.
Assist in processing accommodation, transportation, travel, and facility-related invoices.
Coordinate with procurement and finance departments on payment tracking and cost allocation.
Support operational reporting and management requests.
Compliance & Internal Controls
Ensure adherence to Tecnimont Group policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.
Support implementation of internal controls and continuous process improvements.
Ensure compliance with Saudi labor, commercial, and financial regulations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (mandatory).
Professional accounting certification (SOCPA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent) is considered an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
Experience in engineering, construction, EPC, infrastructure, industrial, or project-based organizations is preferred.
Experience handling VAT, vendor payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Previous experience working within multinational organizations
Technical Skills:
Working knowledge of SAP ERP (mandatory).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Saudi accounting regulations and financial reporting practices.
Experience with budgeting, reporting, and cost control processes.
Language Skills:
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
