Description
The Role
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position involves preparing drinks, engaging with customers, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar.
Key Responsibilities
Beverage Preparation: Skillfully prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company recipes and quality standards (e.g., espresso shots, milk steaming, latte art basics).
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, answer menu questions, and provide a consistently excellent and personalized experience.
Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately using a POS system and handle cash and credit card payments.
Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the coffee bar, service areas, and equipment are clean, sanitary, and well-stocked at all times.
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members to keep operations running smoothly during peak hours.
Product Knowledge: Maintain expert knowledge of all menu items, coffee blends, and seasonal offerings.
Required Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Barista or in a fast-paced food service environment is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [Specify Weight, e.g., 25] pounds.
