Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare a variety of artisan breads including sourdough, baguettes, focaccia, ciabatta, and whole grain loaves

Mix, knead, shape, proof, and bake dough following bakery standards

Monitor dough fermentation and adjust as needed based on environmental conditions

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area

Ensure all products meet our quality standards

Follow food safety and hygiene regulations

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bread baker or artisan baker

Knowledge of traditional and modern bread-making techniques

Familiarity with fermentation, hydration ratios, and temperature control

Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail and a passion for baking

Preferred:

Experience with sourdough and natural leavening
