The carpenter will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures, frameworks, and other fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials. They will work from blueprints and designs to meet the requirements of various construction and renovation projects. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship, physical stamina, and knowledge of woodworking tools and techniques.

Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials to fit specifications.

Build structures such as walls, floors, doors, and windows.

Install frameworks, doors, windows, moldings, cabinets, and other fixtures.

Fit and install trim items like baseboards, crown molding, and railings.

Operate hand and power tools such as saws, drills, planes, sanders, chisels, and nail guns.

Maintain and store tools properly.

Ensure all tools and equipment comply with safety standards.
