We are seeking a qualified and experienced Operations Engineer to oversee and support the technical operations of a Reverse Osmosis (RO) desalination plant in Bahrain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring plant performance, troubleshooting operational issues, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and coordinating between the plant owner, customer, and O&M contractor.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor daily RO plant operations, production, water quality, recovery rates, and energy consumption.

Provide technical support for RO membranes, pretreatment, chemical dosing, energy recovery systems, and CIP.

Review plant performance reports, maintenance schedules, and operational KPIs.

Identify operational problems and recommend corrective actions.

Coordinate with O&M contractors, plant owners, and customers.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational requirements.

Support plant optimization, troubleshooting, and equipment improvement.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred; Mechanical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering considered).

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in RO desalination plant operations (mandatory).

Strong technical knowledge of SWRO/BWRO systems, membranes, high-pressure pumps, chemical dosing, and CIP.
Experience with SCADA/DCS and plant performance monitoring.
Good understanding of RO plant troubleshooting and maintenance.
Excellent English communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Preference will be given to candidates with direct operational experience in seawater desalination plants.
