Description

Need Construction Manager During Engineering and procurement Phase:
- Participate in the evaluation of the technical contents of the contract in respect to construction and assist in the assessment of risks and the measures to be taken to minimize such risks.
- Draw up the construction concept and specify the requirements for working out the construction time schedule.
- Lead the constructability study.
- Advise the engineering team on the development of the plot plan and equipment arrangements drawings and do the cross-checking.
- Responsible for the preparation of the inquiry documents for construction work.
- Responsible for technical bid comparisons and for the technical bid evaluation and recommendations for the construction package.
- Assistance in preparation of construction time to match the overall time schedule.
- Responsible for preparation/review of temporary site facilities arrangement plan and resource management.
During construction Phase:
- Co-ordinate the data flow related to construction work and check the site reports.
- Co-ordinate with construction team for the production and observance of the site personnel’s assignment, schedule, progress of work, understand and provide solutions for site constraints / problems.
- Progress reporting including area of concern and mitigation.
- Construction team building and team management.
- Implement proper work permit system at site.
- Ensuring that all contractual obligations and requirements are met during construction. Management and co-ordination of all site activities and the interfaces between disciplines, base plant and the various contractors.
- Ensuring that all safety policies/ rules/regulations are strictly implemented and enforced.
- Approval of lifting plan of critical lift activities and ensure safety during critical lifts.
- Ensuring that all quality management policies are strictly adhered to.
- Construction quality assurance and quality control.
- Evaluation and Approval of sub-contractor.
- Ensuring that all local laws, traditions, etc. are strictly upheld by his team and contractor.
- Resolve any disputes, conflicts or grievances which may affect productivity, schedule or the quality of the works.
- Strict control of contractor’s performance and equally ensuring contractor’s responsibilities are being fulfilled
- Organizing progress control.
- CM is responsible for smooth coordination between Contractor, authorities and Consultant/PMT.
- Ensure that proper store management procedures are implemented for free issue items and other company’s materials.
- Implement invoice certification procedure and certification of contractor’s invoices/bills.
- Equipment and material movement control as per EHSS rules and regulations.
