Description
Role Summary
The Customs Clerk is responsible for preparing, processing, and maintaining all customs documentation related to bonded zone operations, ensuring full compliance with ZATCA and Saudi Customs Authority regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and process all bonded zone entry and exit documentation.
• Coordinate with Saudi Customs Authority for approvals and clearances.
• Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions and filings.
• Ensure compliance with ZATCA regulations and bonded zone requirements.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers.
• Track and monitor customs permit validity and renewal timelines.
• Support audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.
• File and archive all customs documents systematically.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Minimum 2–3 years of customs or freight documentation experience.
• Knowledge of Saudi Customs Authority systems and ZATCA regulations.
• Saudi National preferred as per Nitaqat/Saudization requirements.
• Proficiency in Arabic (mandatory); English is a plus.
• Strong organizational and document management skills.
