Responsibilities:

Enter data from source documents into the company database or software system accurately and efficiently.

Verify accuracy and completeness of data by reviewing and comparing source documents.

Update and maintain electronic records and databases with new or updated information.

Ensure data integrity and security by adhering to company policies and procedures.

Assist with data cleanup and quality control initiatives as needed.

Generate reports, charts, and graphs from database information as requested.

Respond to inquiries and requests for information from internal team members or external clients.

Collaborate with other departments or team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.

Follow data entry standards and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Perform other administrative tasks or duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in data entry or related field preferred.

Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role preferred but not required.

Proficiency in typing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Familiarity with database software, spreadsheets, and word processing programs.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Basic understanding of data confidentiality principles and practices.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
