We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Draftsman to prepare accurate technical drawings, plans, and layouts based on project specifications and instructions from engineers, architects, or project managers.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical drawing skills, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to meet project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, layouts, and sections according to project requirements.
Create and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
Interpret sketches, design concepts, specifications, and technical instructions.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and other team members to ensure drawing accuracy.
Modify existing drawings based on design changes, site requirements, and client feedback.
Ensure all drawings comply with applicable standards, project specifications, and company requirements.
Maintain proper documentation, drawing registers, revisions, and project files.
Assist in preparing as-built drawings based on actual site conditions.
Review drawings for dimensions, measurements, materials, and technical accuracy.
Coordinate with site teams to clarify drawing details and resolve technical issues.
Ensure drawings are completed and submitted within the required deadlines.
Qualifications and Requirements

Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Previous experience as a Draftsman in a relevant industry is preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of other drafting or 3D modelling software is an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
Good understanding of measurements, dimensions, scales, and technical drawing standards.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
Preferred Skills

Experience preparing shop drawings, detailed drawings, and as-built drawings.
Ability to identify and resolve drawing discrepancies.
Good problem-solving and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
