Purpose:

The Estimation Officer prepares and manages accurate HVAC project cost estimates and budgets, ensuring all financial aspects are analyzed and tracked. The role supports cost efficiency, project feasibility, and informed decision-making through close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed cost estimates for HVAC projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted services, to support pricing accuracy and profitability.
Negotiate with third-party installers and suppliers to secure competitive unit rates and optimize overall project cost.
Review mechanical shop drawings, perform quantity take-offs, and prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Collaborate with clients to gather technical and commercial requirements and assess their financial impact.
Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgets and timely financial reporting.
Structure and manage project data within SAP S/4HANA for accurate cost tracking, reporting, and project documentation.

Experience and Requirements:

Relevant experience in estimation, costing, or budgeting, preferably in the HVAC or construction sector.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Primavera P6 is preferred.
Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and attention to detail.
