Job Responsibilities

• Coordinates and interfaces between fabrication/welding/installation and pre-fabrication/welding activities.
• Supervises all fabrication yard erection activities (as per the internal system)
• Handle the workshop production and efficiency of the team to ensure all projects are manufactured within quoted and budgeted man hours.
• Identify potential shortfall in workshop capacity and liaise with the production
manager to resolve and find solutions.
• Monitor & control overtime with the production manager as per daily requirements.
• Update each job status on the register throughout manufacturing to allow the team to have visibility of progress.
• Have an understanding of work in the pipeline to assist in forward production planning.
• Oversee the receipt of materials to ensure forward planning as per delivery schedule.
• Note any defects and/or missing items and report to the PPC team.
• Collate completed job orders and handover to the production manager, upon satisfactory completion.
• Display all workshop risk assessments and method statements and ensure they are being adhered to by all workforce.
• Notify management of any potential noncompliance and assist in carrying out any disciplinary measures.
• Maintain excellent levels of housekeeping, ensure areas are free from waste and trip hazards etc
• Develop and motivate staff to ensure they achieve maximum performance and higher output.
• To handle various and all other assignments as instructed by management and managers incharge.
