Description

Job Summary:

The Finance Director is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. This strategic role supports executive leadership in decision-making by providing clear financial insights and recommendations to drive business growth and financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee the financial strategy, planning, and budgeting processes.

Lead the preparation of financial reports, statements, and forecasts for senior management, board members, and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.

Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk, ensuring the company’s financial stability.

Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements.

Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors and consultants.

Manage the finance team, providing leadership, coaching, and professional development.

Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and business planning.

Monitor key financial performance indicators and provide actionable insights.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).

Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is highly desirable.

Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Strong understanding of corporate financial law and risk management practices.

Excellent knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting, and data analysis.

Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite).

Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
