We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Food and Beverage Assistant Manager

Shift: Flexible, including weekends and holidays

About the Role:

As the Food and Beverage Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with the day-to-day operations of our hotel’s food and beverage services. You will work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to oversee a variety of dining outlets, ensuring that every guest enjoys a high standard of service and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the daily operations of the food and beverage department, including restaurants, bars, and room service.
Supervise and train food and beverage staff, ensuring they deliver excellent service to all guests.
Coordinate with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage stock levels to ensure efficient operations.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards in all food and beverage areas.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
Assist in budgeting, cost control, and planning for special events and promotions.
Work with the management team to improve processes and enhance guest experiences.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within food and beverage, preferably in a hotel or fine-dining environment.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory control, costing, and health and safety regulations.
A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or a related field are an advantage.
